Indonesia's 80th Independence Day

Arts & Culture / 2025

Each year, a logo is chosen for the Indonesian Day of Independence, and as the nation steps into its 8th decade as an independent country, it is our great honor that the 80th Independence Day of Indonesia visual identity designed by Bram Patria Yoshugi, Art Director at Thinking*Room, was successfully chosen for this year’s celebrations across the archipelago in the nation-wide open call competition. Created with the intention to be embraced both officially by the government and organically by the public, the logo translates this year’s designated Independence Day theme of Bersatu Berdaulat, Rakyat Sejahtera, Indonesia Maju (United Sovereignty, Prosperous Peoples, A Progressive Indonesia) into the participatory spirit of Dimiliki Bersama, Dirayakan Bersama (Belonging to All, Celebrated by All) with a bold, straightforward, and adaptive visual character.
